Hello to whomever is reading this! You'd be surprised to know that this lady has finally given up most of her "wild" ways and settled down to a more sedate way of life. I'm looking forward to retirement this year and the next phase of my life!! Still wish I was on the back of some Harley, but am content with the memories and the ink. Steroids for asthma put a big crimp in my style and turned my health upside down. I now have 5 heart stents!! Some may be surprised, but I do miss some of those "old times." I have three wonderful children (46, 43 and 37) and have been blessed with four grandchildren ranging in age from 11-22 years old! They are the ultimate gift! I am the type of grandma that loves to have them around! I know you must be doing the math - I had my oldest daughter 3 months early (in Nov/71) and didn't know that I was pregnant when we graduated! Went to UW-Oshkosh thinking I could do a semester, but it wasn't meant to be. I eventually returned to school at the age of 30 and became a nurse. love the hours and I just celebrated 19 years in the same place (which is a long time in nursing). I have done well and am proud to be a very independent woman. I have very few regrets and would not do anything different in my life - not even my wild high school days!! I guess I would have liked to have moved to the country, but now I don't want to be too far from my kids, so I travel to those places. Since all of the reunions, I have become FB friends with many classmates and always look forward to seeing them at the get-togethers!! I still am terrible at calling anyone. I continue to be friends with Cindi Lavoie and we chat on-line regularly since she is in Mass. We met in 7th grade when she moved to Brown Deer. Her family moved a lot and she actually lived in BD the longest. It was devastating to me when she and Lynn Hooseman both moved out-of-state the summer before our senior year. I had to start over, too!! What made it easier was going to a small high school and knowing most kids since kindergarten. If you want to get in touch with me, I am on Facebook.
